Here's our General Store coop. The size is a 6x4. The siding is E1, eastern cedar, horizontal installation, with natural edge.
This one was a bit of a challenge. Sometimes the properties in Austin can be very tricky with the various topographies and elevation changes. It's probably hard to tell from the pics, but this was basically at the top height of their property with lots of drop offs, so we had to be careful.
8x8 Cottage Playhouse raised 4.5', with 4' porch and railing.
We set up this 8x6 blind on an 8' tower. But the coolest thing that happened was when we discovered a fawn maybe 30' away that must have been born just before we got arrived, or maybe even during out setup. The fawn couldn't even walk yet and we never even saw the mother.
Here's an 8x8 Western Town coop with an 8x8 run. Alleyton is close to Cat Spring, just down the road from Sealy
This model is the 6x6 Western Town Coop with a 2' porch and awning and W1 Western cedar base model siding.
Here's a nice size chicken coop with a run on the back. The coop footprint is 16' wide x 11' deep including the porch. The interior coop area is 16' x 8'. The Porch area is 16' x 3'. The back run is 16' x 8'.
It's cool when I get to construct a new design based on a customer request. I can't stray too far from the path, since everything I do is modular, but sometimes it works out really well. I like how this turned out. Combining an open storage area for a lawnmower and closed storage area for other things, all as one unit. The total footprint is 12' wide and 10' deep. The siding style is E4 (vertical, straight edge, board and batten).
Elmendorf is south of San Antonio and home of Sandy Oaks Olive Orchard. That's a neat place to visit, if you're ever in the area.
I had this playhouse for sale on the blog after Christmas. It was purchased by a repeat customer of mine and turned into a house for ducks. She requested the awning which really was a nice addition I thought.
Here I will post some of our recent deliveries.
